Fake or Real (Authentic, Genuine, etc.) -- Official Thread - Page 40

actually i was going to purchase it resale online. but, i've decided against it. thank you though.

Did I just buy a fake Prada?

Short Version

Please look at the tags and tell me if you think think this is an authentic Prada Suit.

 

Long Version:

So I was in a rush, had to get a suit real quick. I knew that I was a pretty perfect Prada size 38 so I looked online. Found one in the UAF367 model which is my favorite (don't really own any just have tried them on before).

 

It was new and unaltered and the guy was willing to sell it for USD 550 (quick deal). 

 

Now I have the suit and looking at the tags they say that they are made in Hungary (the jacket) and Romania (the pants) 

 

The guy was saying that this is the same suit that the people in the store wear. When I talk to Prada, they say "almost" all their suits are made in Italy.

 

What do the experts on here say? Fake or Real? Or some weird employee version that's made somewhere else than Italy. In any case than it being real, I feel ripped off.

Who cares? It's Prada: it's shit either way.

You probably picked up a suit that they give the employees. Technically Prada, but not really.

Prada suits are made by Belvest in Italy.

I doubt Prada is made in Hungary and I would assume the sizing would've been in EUR.

Louis Vuitton does the same thing. The suits for their employees are made in China.
