They always seem to get the indentation at the top of the leg wrong.

I wish I took a picture but it looked exactly like the older Zegna wide rectangle label although I only quickly looked at it. I think it was made in Mexico where I know Zegna (ZZEGNA) has a factory there which is maybe why I assumed. I can't seem to find a picture of the tag online. Thanks for the knowledge drop.

And yup about Conf. di Matelica SpA, it's right on the tag. I didn't realize that was a maker. Thanks for the age approx. too, I could not find that online.

Some of the Gruppo GFT (they also made some of the older Collezioni) tags can look pretty similar to the older Zegna tags. Also, Gruppo has like 20 factories around the world including the US and Mexico, which is where a lot of the Mani stuff is from.

The tag is legit but that's all I can say without seeing the rest of the jacket. Sport coat?

Yeah...I figured. I had left it thinking it was fake. Thanks for confirming.

@kbadgley84
Thanks. It was way out of my price range, so I left it. But now I have a better idea of a legit tag. Thanks again.

Burberry stopped using that tag in 1999 so the coat was pretty old, wouldn't pick up if over $10 unless it's a killer pattern and cashmere or silk or for personal use

Thrifted an Hermès scarf, think it's from 1968 based on the design. Is it legit? I can take more photos if necessary.
