Hey guys, I need some advice on college life!

I did a year at a community college and am now transferring to a state university.
I'm deciding on a school near Allentown or Philadelpia PA. I've not received any award packages yet, I will next month and those will the DECIDING FACTOR for where I go.

Well, I'm 18 and my parents have done everything for me...literally everything. They wake me up, clean my room, my bathroom, make my food, do my laundry, my dad maintains my car, I mean literally everything. It's not because I'm lazy or anything, it's just that they've never taught me anything or allowed me the freedom to do anything.

They're so overprotective of me that they sabotaged my college education by sending me to kindergarten so I'd finish high school when I was 17, thus I couldn't leave home legally to go live by myself or take out loans and pay for myself. To this day, they've never let me play sports, hang out with friends or have a gf, or pretty much anything else American teenagers do...sucks being an immigrant

FYI, I got into a great school with a decent scholarship but still couldn't afford going because mom and dad filed bankruptcy and I couldn't take out loans, I was screwed. This is also the reason to why I've now applied to state funded schools which are not as expensive. If I'm lucky, financial aid will cover a large portion, I'll take out some loans, and my work my ass off to cover my education. Shit's gonna be tough, medicine requires an absurdly long 8-12 years

I really can't stand living with them anymore and I've realized the faster I move out, the better.

Anyways...my questions are:
1. What city would you pick, keep in mind both colleges are about 20-30 miles away from the two cities.

2. How does food/laundry/bathroom happen at colleges?

3. How do you manage working and school time? My parents have never let me keep a job

4. Were you guys this fashionable while in college?

Well I did work a job ONCE, OVER THE SUMMER for 2 months but my parents made me quit because they thought I'd become too "independent" and because school was starting. I realized that to live the kind of life style I want, 7.35 an hour will not cut it. Also, I'm really distraught with the medicine as it is today, I've been a victim of mis diagnosis and eventually what happened was I had to argue with the doctor that what I was saying was right and to do the damn test and lo and behold I needed surgery and the doctors at the clinic had been mis diagnosing me for 1.5 years. No legal action was taken because my immigrant high school dropout parents don't have the cash to pay for lawyers. Also, I like science bio/chem/physics/astronomy but I like medicine more because I've had more experience with it and I feel upset with the way it is and I wanna try to improve it. Also, I know the amount of time it takes, I know that getting into med school is like the academic equivalent of a college football player getting into the NFL, I know that if you don't make it into med school, your options are very limited, I know that the loans will be in the range of a quarter-half million. Pakistan/India, also the fact that they're xenophobic Muslims doesn't help.

I would do that but with no "skills" I don't think I could survive on my own. I REALLY do not want to move back in with my parents. If I was to get a job and quit school, I honestly believe that I'd fail in a couple of weeks. If I went to school, I could always rely on student aid to hold me over. Even now at my crappy CC, I have about 1700 each semester to spend freely.

because, only chumps go to "college" for those, you don't need to go to college for that stuff.
It can be had for free. If YOU went to college for that, I feel bad for you. Hopefully you got a decent degree.
