Gentlemen,

I plan to visit both London and Paris this spring, and am looking for getting a pair of EG shoes (absolutely no idea on the model and why I need *another* pair of shoes in the first place!)

Any suggestions on what shop is preferable? Is there any difference in price?

From Edward Green's website:

PARIS SHOP

Edward Green are pleased and proud to announce the opening of our first retail shop outside the United Kingdom on Saturday 5th December. Situated at 199b boulevard St. Germain, near to the boulevard Raspail, the closest metro station is rue du Bac. Monsieur Alex Polydore and his team look forward to welcoming you there.

Did the opening of the Boulevard St. Germain shop lead to reduction of EG shoes' choice in Old England?

Nope. They're both about the same price.
