WHAT? Where can you find Propecia for $40? The lowest price I've found is $59 on drugstore.com . I agree with the combo of Propecia and Minoxidil. The costco version of the 5% is better than the actual Rogaine brand- much less oily. I only use it at night (as it leaves a coated feeling to the hair), and still see results. I have kept a full head of hair because I started early on the Minoxidil, wish I'd started the Propecia sooner though.

I forget how much it is now. I thought it was $40, maybe it was $65, don't know. I used to buy mine from 111drugstore.com, a Thailand operation. Looks like it got shut down. I had my shipments search by homeland security but it always got to me on time.

Are you taking the 1mg recommended dosage of propecia? If so then get on Proscar and cut those pills into 1/5. Much cheaper though the pills are hard to cut. I was only on 1mg for about a week. Then I was on 0.33mg/day for 10 months. Didn't help at all I don't think.

I have my finasteride still sealed if you want it. Proscar and brand name Propecia. I have no need for it. I'll sell it for whatever you want to give me.

Prolly $100+ worth of pills at least.

If you want to get on the minoxidil (rogaine) then there is a new rogaine foam that just got released and approved by the FDA. Supposed to be nicer than the greasy liquid. It is probably the standard 2% or 5% dosage. If you want some strong shit get Dr. Lee's 15% concoction, supposed to be the best high concentration one.

For those of you interested in taking Propecia and are concerned about the cost, I recommend you get your doctor to proscribe you Proscar. It is the exact same same drug, but comes in a 5mg pill instead of 1mg. The great thing about it is that it just became available as in generic form so you can get it really cheap and then just cut the pills. You can get a years supply for about $100.

Just talk to your doctor about it.

Yeah, but even distribution of the active ingredient in the Proscar is not guaranteed. I don't know if Merck of whoever is just using that as a scare tactic, but still, I'd be wary.

Shouldn't matter so long as you are taking X amount every Y days, however, I read a pharmacist tested the drug and the distribution of the active ingredient was homogeneous throughout the pill.

I'm sure properica and rogaine aren't the best things for you but it worked like a charm for me.

Tiecollector, I may be interested in those pills of yours.
