This is actually a very big deal to me. I am big on being efficient and I love getting up at 5:30-6am, I have to. But I also have a life and I don't go to bed at 9pm to get 8 hours of sleep either. So over the last few years I have had to train myself to get the most efficient sleep possible. I don't eat at night unless I go out, and even then I eat very light, if I go to bed on a full stomach, i'm going to be out of commission. For me, and this is just me, I have to sleep with 1 pillow, and I have to sleep on my back. Why I do not know, but that's just me. Last but not least, everything in the wrong has to be off. no PC in sleep mode, no electronics. nothing. If I do that, I can go to bed at 1230 and get up at 5:30 without any problems at all. I do work out and I know, i'm probably shorting myself on my muscle gains by shorting myself on sleep but I'm not a professional bodybuilder o anything and it's just not practical in my every day life to sleep for 9 hours a day. I'd be a miserable prick if I had to go to bed at 9pm everyday.
