Question about canaletti

Stay away from this seller: (s)he lies outright about the retail prices of his/her items, as the auction to which you linked evidences. (The suit is junk and worth - at retail - a few hundred dollars, at most.)

I'm not sure that Belvest qualifies as a small brand. I mean, if it's sold at Barneys, my feeling is that its been blown wide open. A better example might be Marol.

I have never closely looked at one of those auctions, but that is an amazing comment. Good thing about this forum is that we look out for each other. I am sure that Naldini and its "brothers" have been mentioned a dozen times before, and we still answer instead of ignoring or yelling at posters to do a search as is common on other boards.

What does that even mean? I had never caught that comment on the ebay auction -- that is freaking hysterical...

It means they couldn't think of anything better to say about the suit, which does not speak well about the quality.
