What are you wearing in 10 years? - Page 3

Given that my intended profession is university professor, probably some brown belts with black shoes, olive pleated khakis, and baggy button-down shirts. My forehead will probably be bigger too.

Awesome. Really, though, I love reading about and looking at pictures of nice ties, bespoke suits and high-quality shoes in the menswear forum. Given my current financial status, it's nice to not really have to worry about that kind of thing at the moment, but I can already tell that the interest is in me somewhere, even if it's somewhat dormant at the moment. I look forward to being able persue it in the future. Like others have said, though, I hope I never start changing into sky blue Wranglers after a day at the office.

Considering I'm dressing about the same at 35 as I was at 25 and 15, I suspect I'll probably be wearing black t-shirts, hoodies, jeans, and sneakers at 45 as well. I briefly purged my element of its punk/skater elements, but the resulting look didn't work very well for me. I think I've found a happy medium by wearing what I've always worn, only nicer versions in the correct sizes.

My business wear will probably also be the same as it is now - fairly conservative "classic" stuff, with some edgier elements - but without as many gaps plugged by inferior "budget" items.

I'll have to dress pretty conservative at work, always a suit, not too flashy. I will most probably wear a pocket square more often than not and I will try, if money allows it, to go for suits like Borrelli and other suits that fits the less, errr, muscular guys.

In the week-end, I'll continue to wear jeans, but I'll probably have the money to buy some better shirts (BoO) and stuff like this. Chelsea boots, etc.

that's the same place I've found myself, looking back. I've pretty much gone full circle where my look today isnt too different than when I was 26 (10 years ago) or 16 (20 years ago!!) but I'm just sporting better quality versions of the same kinda gear. And obviously I've dropped some of the more extreme items I used to wear (14 hole docs with jeans rolled up to the top with a cutoff sleeveless Tee anyone?). I just wonder if I'll still be wearing Thin Finns when I'm nearing 50(!!!)

my biggest change is that when I was 26, I was eyeing and wanting tons of Paul Smith gear, and 10 years later I actually have a closetful so that desire came true.

Tokyo Slim, I hope yer right...I would love to see a photo of you looking like that in 10 years

getting a horse really is the only logical answer.

10 years, between 30 and 40 for me. The biggest thing will be keeping age at bay from the neck down. It's already harder at 30 to remain trim, the next decade will be the hard one. I'll probably actually have a job in 10 years, teaching, so I'll be wearing much the same as I do now but with more ties and more ironing. I'll also have better shoes, I can't help it, I love them. Haircut? I hope not.

same thing i was wearing 10 years ago. same thing I will be wearing in 20 years.

This is the future we're talking about, people. I'm hoping to accessorize with a jetpack.
