Damn squares, you buy them books, send them to school, teach them how to behave in public, and yet they still try to run away from home every chance they get. cloud.gif

The chair rulz. And the tie is certainly heir apparent.

king of great grey suits. details on maker?

Thanks. There's two of them, the lighter one is minis fresco and the slightly darker grey is Lesser sharkskin. Both made by Chan.

I don't think I will be buying any more 9 oz Lesser though. Fabric looks good but doesn't perform well. Very fragile. I'd be surprised if I can wear this suit more than a couple of years.

^ Great insight that's sure to be of value for someone here. Stuff like that is on of the boards main raisons d'être, IMO.

Where are you finding the wear on the 9 oz Lesser? I bought 2 pairs of pants with the suit because I heard light tropical wool tends to wear out faster. This is the first season I have worn them, so no long term experience yet.

Surprising. I've always heard the Lesser's tropical wears and performs like iron.

I think you at least have to crop the earring out to put the C in BD.

Not boring enough, methinks. The gingham takes this out of CBD.

I kinda like it. I think it stays in the spirit of the thread (sprucing up CBD) - maybe a bit on the edge

Definitely not "boring", I agree.

Sorry - I must have missed this.

This cloth is by no stretch of the imagination a hard-wearing cloth. It shows wear and abrasion anywhere where there's been friction, there's several pulls (I actually have never seen pulls in suiting cloth before), a small hole at a tension stitching point (trousers pocket), and it actually ripped (not unstitched, ripped) when one of my boy grabbed me by the hip pocket (he's 3, so not exactly the Hulk) - once again, first time this ever happened to me.

So I'm not joking when I say it's fragile
