Not really digging the tie here. But the suit seems just really good. Great, actually.

Thanks, I think it's my best-fitting suit. I can see how the tie might not win universal approval, but I like it for a warm, sunny day.

It's nice to see you not wearing tweed for a change. This looks nice.

i'm not a fan of yours. no big deal.

may i ask, why some of you guys wear your collars so tight. uncomfortable is one thing that comes to mind.

Not surprising

Are you referring to mine today? It's not tight - it's just right

Are you ever going to post a fit? I'd be interested to see what one of the most active critique on SF wears

well, not for me. i have a bulls neck, anyway.

i did a few. critiques have been ok for me. we'll see what comes...

From your comments in MC & SWD, I think that we simply have very different tastes.

I don't understand your comment about the shirt neck - this is hardly a subjective matter, a shirt collar fits well when it doesn't choke you and when you can slip a finger or two (based on preference). So if I tell you that it's just right, then it's just right.

My collar feels fine; but, as happens every year about this time, my socks are beginning to bind.

Love it, o/o. Top to bottom.

gdl et al, re the tie: Is it just the color?
FWIW Butch I like the tie. A solid gray suit is so neutral it can be CBD'ed within an inch of its life with a white shirt and a navy grenadine, but there's something to be said for acknowledging the seasons and livening it up with a bright tie that is still business appropriate.

Nothing wrong with a lighter, more seasonal tie. But that doesn't mean that everything works. It can be springy or summery without being garish. Pastels often work wonders to convey a summery feel without being too out there.

Gotcha. It didn't feel garish...lol8[1].gif
