Looking at the mirror, I'd probably agree with you. When dressing in the morning it looked much better.

The tie is by Panta. Ed made a fantastic choice of cloth.

Today is probably a bit better than yesterday, but photo quality is even worse.

That looks great, Banis. Is it a flannel suit?
Thanks! Yes, it is Minnis flannel. 0304, if I'm not mistaken.

Don't know if it's the angle but it looks very boxy on that picture

It looks like an overcoat on a square wooden hanger.

It's all about Perspective. Just posted in response to another Suit in the same cloth, not looking for a fit-crit.

I think I will stick with artfully composed and dimly lit photos of shoes an ties.

Don't be offended. I think what we're trying to say is that we'd love to see another picture of the jacket or coat if you have one.

I'm myself guilty of taking crappy pictures so I am not throwing stones. I haven't seen anything cut by this tailor before and I'm curious. The cloth, obviously, is fantastic.

Yeah I have only heard of Graham Brown.

Here be a compendium of my last couple of months.

I'm shocked at how mild the winter has been that I've only felt the need to wear overcoats a couple of times. The fact that I wear thick flannel suits probably helps too...

Crompton has quite a few Browne things, por ejemplo:

520

I'm not sensitive, so don't worry, not offended - it's a poor photo taken with a laptop about 12 inches from my navel, so perspective is very distorted.

In reality it has strong shoulders, and is quite waisted - it's my first DB, so not sure about it yet, will probably take me a while to get comfortable.

If and when I work out how to take a fit photo I'm happy with will post back here.

I kinda like the full bellies on those Tautz lapels. Not a fan of the shoulders, but that is a personal bias. (They actually seem to work better to me on Crompton because they offset his ski-slope angles.)

How do you like working with them? Given their price point, I've heard that they are rather no-nonsense.

What is their price point?

The thing that I don't care for on dandie's which could just be the angle and such is that there is a sevre change in direction of the shoulder line where it meets the collar. It is not smooth and sloping. It is something that I always look at on suits.

Their bespoke two pieces start at about £850-ish, if I recall correctly, or less than (much less than in several cases) half the cost of something from SR and less than Ercole.
