No. At this time I can't justify the cost, although I could always use a new sport coat.
Re: NSM. I'd have to see more of her garments "in the flesh". The ones I've seen
on guys like Parker are beautiful, but my build is very different. I still might go
to see her on her next visit.

very much. the "first" cbd socks in this thread either. black and navy blue are the army swiss knife among cbd socks.

Would need a ruling from the front office about the patch pockets but the point here is personalized CBD, so you may make the cut.

not sure what is meant by front office. though, i've seen brown shoes and patterned socks within the boundaries of this thread, which is far out, imo.

Beautiful suit, NOBD. I love the shoes, but they wouldn't pass muster at the most traditional (uptight?) offices here.

Thanks, philosophe (and the others for the comments). The suit would? (Or was it included in "they"?)

I think Manton is the "front office" but he seems to have abandoned it. IIRC from earlier posts, he'd suggest that the suit fabric is already pushing the bounds of CBD, so the suede shoes might take the ensemble over the line.

Nah,

I think I now understand the point in this thread; restraint.

It doesn't matter what the dress code is where you work, the premise of this thread is to wear nice stuff in which the details do not jump out or elicit overt attention. Fits should be rooted in nice silhouettes and good colour coordination, without a particular item standing out.

IMO.

I think this achieves that.

IMO, this is a perfect "Friday" suit for when there are no important meetings and everyone is dressed just a tad casual. I love the suit, tie, shoes combo by the way, it's a very nice fall look that's put together very well.
