Like the browlines Liufty --- you should get a pair of Shurons (if they fit you).

And I'm going to repeat - trou are too sharply tapered. Yesterday's look was great.

These were my cheap-ass answer to $200+ Shurons - $30 with lenses. I'll be upgrading once my budget allows, likely to tortoiseshell with relaxo side cables. Agreed that they're a tad too tapered. I am revisiting everything I have to start tweaking with the tailor.

Ah yes, interview wear. Everyone knows how much I like to talk about interview wear. Finally.

I, being the hidebound sort, would have opted for a solid suit with TV fold. But if I were interviewing you, I'd think you looked well put together and professional. As such, you pass the test. Downright Tradly.

Unless there's some overcheck these colorblind eyes can't see, this is the definition of CBD-friendly POW. A bit snug in the chest and waist perhaps -- the exposed shirt is more almond than my preferred V -- but the overall effect suggests you know what you're doing. The shirt collar isn't my cuppa, as it appears very triangular, but I wouldn't hold that against you. It's an interesting spring/summer take on the interview uniform.

Glad to see you back, C. Good luck with the job.

Lufty, I like your pocket square fold today. Graceful. Glad to see the bals too. The tie not so much.

Hard to tell from the pics but looks like there might be a light blue overcheck.

I'm not sure, honestly.
This thread has been a roller-coaster ride recently.

[quote=TC (Houston);4555435]Even if not technically CBD, figured maybe I would get a pass for observing the thread's standards for quality of photos. Tie is not nearly as dark as appears in first pic, kind of a soft textured gray silk HB.

Dressed too Well *Would not hire TC as lawyer* sorry Bud...geesh you really did lose a lot of weight, was it intentional or were you sick.

Manton, is that florescent orange stripe shirt a reply to O/O?
an 'interesting' shirt with three solids to offset -- the point being that one can be a bit crazy, just not all four ( or five or six if shoes are included, or not per se if sock-less)

It looks great. I doubt I would have the imagination to go with that type of
stripe. My stripes tend more like this:
