I like it all.

I was thinking of using a jacket separately and decided that patch pockets would be more preferrable for me. And yes, it is from a new tailor.
Probably lack of swelled edges could be better. Don't know.
As for the shoes, it is really a problem what to wear with solaro. Those norwegers seemed to be the better option that came to me mind. It was a first time I could not chose proper shoes for the outfit.

I like! Interesting about the wrinkling though.

@ Banis, the pinstripe number you posted recently (where you were standing in the middle of a highway) made you look slimmer. I like this suit just fine, but I think pinstripes might be your look since you're a bit on the husky side. I really like your shirts btw.

@ Mike, this looks swell. One of your best looks as of late imo.

Are you against the burgundy color or just the u-last in general?


Thanks Ed. The cloth is H&S Crispaire 11/12oz, I love the color but an not enamored with the fabric. I find it doesnt hold a crease well at all.

You should get a new cleaner or start having your collars made fused. Cleaners are one of the big reasons shirtmakers fuse collars. Well, that and they just look neater all the time, pretty much no matter what.

There's some really soft fusibles out there, see if they can get you some.

This is the standard Crispaire, correct? Not the ones labeled Fresco in the back of the old book (which I believe are 10oz)? Regardless, suit looks great!

I think he is not a fan of a floating medallion.

I don't get the iGent love for Solaro. Every Solaro suit I have seen (and I've seen a few) looks kinda ugly.
