Great SC, Manton. From Mina?

I think it looks great. Any ideas on where to get them in the US, as I won't be back in Italy until september?

I've seen nice things, but I don't understand the prices when I order something from the US and I need to learn about measurements... I hate ordering stuff that doesn't fit.

It's Sunday.

Yes, that is the infamous A&S coat that does not fit.

No. Please see my original post and subsequent explanations.

If, after that, you still object to the way this thread is going, I'm sorry.

I don't object at all.

it just seemed to me that this thread was about conservative business dress, but upon reading the OP it seems that it's more about what you would term "Classic Style".

No offense to UC, but when there are posts like below in this thread, i struggle to see how it's any different from WAYWT and how it's any more conservative.

(i like both fits)

I agree with the latter point; doesn't belong here. But I think an occasional odd jacket, done subtly, is a nice addition even if it's not for business.

The inspiration for this thread was for it to be an alternative to the more ... riotous WAYWN thread. It should include odd jackets. "conservative business dress" is a just a catch phrase with forum resonance. It's not meant to be super-limiting.

Minus the suede shooes, this might, just possibly, be conservative business dress for a farmer somewhere in Sicily.

That's not suede. It's aged caked-on pig feces.
