From WAYWRN. I promise not to sully this thread with many of my pics, but I am genuinely wondering whether this fit would qualify.
I don't think this would cause raised eyebrows in even pretty conservative offices. Personally I'd prefer a darker tie, but I don't think the one you are wearing

I think much of that is the awkward pose.

Very pale lilac/lavender would definitely be considered CBD in the UK. I think light mauve would be stretching it, but not necessarily looked down upon in an otherwise relatively sombre outfit. Do remember that in otherwise conservative offices, where brown shoes are still frowned upon, bold Duchamp ties would not get a second-glance though
I like that, oldog. Your style seems to live right at the edge of CBD... mixing formal and informal elements deftly. Like you went to the office for a few phone calls, then off to a leisurely lunch. I like it very much.

I like lavender when it's really pale or has a bluish cast. And as long as all the other elements are conservative.
Looks good with navy. Don't know if lavender is CBD or not, but Acrids shirt is too dark for his tie which should be replaced by something more business-y for that pinstripe suit.

Thanks much; but how did you get access to my calendar?
