I need to lose as much weight as possible in a month realistically speaking. I don't want to do anything crazy or unhealty, but if anyone has some good tips on how to lose as much weight as possible in a month (and even after that month), I would appreciate your advice.

Doesn't look like spam, necessarily.

Well, in short, the fastest way to lose weight in a month would be to abstain from food entirely. Now, if that's the healthiest way is a whole other story. Probably the fastest, and the healthiest way to lose as much weight as possible in a month would be to go on a rapid fat loss plan that includes a diet high in protein, low in fat and carbohydrate. I have a booklet by Lyle McDonald on the subject; if you are interested further, and indeed aren't spam, I'd be happy to e-mail you a copy.

If this is legit, I highly suggest you look at health or weight loss forums, not a clothing and style forum that happens to have a health section.Well this wasn't the reason why I joined this forum, but it seemed appropriate to give it a shot and see what people had to say here.

Is it similar to an Atkins sort of thing? I would greatly appreciate if you could email it to me.

Similar in theory, but a bit more restricted for faster results. The plan is designed for people trying to drop weight fast for their high school reunion, that sort of thing.
I sent you a PM.

Well, unless you're a masochist, probably not, haha. But it's most likely the quickest way to lose as much weight in a month short of eating nothing. If you're not up for eating egg whites and plain chicken breasts for a month, then I would recommend just eating an extremely low carb diet. Keeping both protein high, fat moderate, and carbohydrate low, you'll still see pretty good results--not as dramatic, but still noticeable. You can also try implementing intermittent fasting as well which is a great catalyst to weight loss.

No that's fine - I was assuming like I would constantly feel like I was starving to death. I did Atkins once and for the first two weeks, I sort of felt like a crack addict dying for his drugs (carbs), but the feeling went away after those two weeks.

Right. It will take a while for your body to adapt to oxidizing (burning) fat for fuel, rather than glucose from dietary carbohydrate, but once you've entered ketosis it's a breeze, in my opinion at least.

Depends how badly you want to lose it. I've tried alot of different diets and such in order to work out the easiest/best way to cut a few kgs before comps (I compete in judo), so I'll tell you what has worked for me. First of all, why are you doing it? It will help to have an idea of what exactly you are trying to achieve here. Also necessary is how fit or unfit you are and what exercise you are capable of doing.
*First things first, cut carbs (duh). You will hate it, you will feel like shit if your diet is largely composed of carbs. You will have to deal with it.
*Eat protein and fat, with green vegetables (no starchy vegetables). Add chilli to your meals if you can take it
*Anything with sugar, don't even think about it.
*If you aren't hungry, DON"T EAT. This goes for any meal. Just because it's lunch time, it doesn't mean you have to eat. Be sure to recognise the difference between "bored hungry" and actually hungry before you eat as well.
*If you can, go for a brisk walk before breakfast every day
*Drink coffee and/or green tea
*Do some very easy cardio everyday (like a 30min-60min jog). High intensity is better for burning fat, but odds are you will be putting your body under a fair bit of stress to get this weight off so keep it light.
Without knowing anymore about you that's the best advice I can give at this stage.

If you wanna lose the most weight it will hurt like fuck and feel real shitty. But thats what happens when you only ask for a month. But speaking of crack, that would probably be your best bet.
Semi-serious, stop intaking sodium. And whatever day you wish to look 'good' for, don't drink water 18hrs before hand. That and restrict diet like crazy. Tons of protein and low/non-existant carbs. Some low intensity cardio.

RFL in a nutshell for you:
- eat only protein, 2g/lb of target lbm
- only trace carbs and fats
- lift heavy 3 x wk
- add LISS
Also, the sodium thing only applies when intake is changing. The body can handle larger amounts of sodium just fine and you wont be "holding water" as they say. Sodium manipulation and dehydration (as practised by bbs alike) only works if you're at a quite low bf to begin with.
