I think it's one of the pitfalls of listing something at a higher price than market value. You get to price drop but the allure of the item kind of dies out. And everyone ends up just waiting for the price to drop more.

Truth probably lies somewhere between the 40L vs 40R argument and your point.

Personally, I think Tony's suit is really nice (actually, great), but is still priced a bit above what i paid for a 40L RLPL (savile row cut) late last year, so I am not tempted yet.

Of course, I probably snared a bargain and Tony's suit will probably be snapped up any day.
