Ice Hockey - Page 53

Kariya just got another 2 points! Hockey God! I hope he gets invited to team Canada.

^He'd have to be like top 10 in scoring, but how awesome would that be. The Stevens hit kind of robbed him of his Olympic experience in his prime. The blues are much better with him.

The ending to the Oilers game made me cry. I also don't think Jacques is going to last on the first line for very long...

I saw that. Wow. Would've almost been better to just get shut out and not have to watch that. 50 seconds left.

This was such a sad way to end after a hard fought game, almost freaky looking how it went in too.

I think that Gary Suter hit did it more for him. Never the same after that.

Slow day in the NHL last night Who has the best team in my hockey pool? Goals and assists are worth the same amount of points and goalies earn points for saves, wins, and shutouts.

Semenov, 28, a second-round draft choice of the Edmonton Oilers who recently played for San Jose and Florida, had called general manager Glen Sather for a training camp tryout and played well enough to earn a one-year, $600,000 contract.

The team announced that the 6-6 Russian had come to terms Wednesday evening, and on Thursday, Semenov's agent, Allan Walsh, posted it on Twitter.

But an "issue" developed Thurssday, the team said. On Friday, Semenov, who made the trip here but watched the Penguins' morning skate with Sather in the stands, left the team.

"He agreed, his agent agreed, but his wife didn't," Sather said. "He couldn't talk his family into it. In all my years of dealing with players, I've never had that happen before. He was crying."

Before Sather's comments, Semenov, whose wife lives in Russia, told Newsday he "would love to be here, but I don't think it's going to work out." Asked if he might play in Russia's KHL, he said, "Maybe, we'll see."

Jesus, absolutely ridiculous game. All tied at 5 going to OT. See if atdhe.net works for you.
Flyers take it in OT. Both teams deserved 1 point after that, I think they'll be the top 2 teams in the East this year.

Oh man the Kessel trade is looking good for Boston.
