do you think there will be a "realigning" of salaries after the last few years of mega pay for the top few superstars available for signing?

And big time congrats to the Habs, big time win over Crosby, Malkin, and the Pens.

Eating my words itt talk about Fleury fail in game 7. Great job by Halak and the Habs for outworking the Pens. I hope the Bruins put game away; I would love to see a bos - mtl conference final.

How 'bout 'em? Only the sixth team in NHL history to take a series to game seven from a 3-0 deficit.

Habs played an awesome game last night and deserved to win. They won the series fair and square. The Camalleri goal was simply brilliant and the 5th goal where he assisted on Gionta's PP goal was an awesome flip pass over the goalie to Gionta who wacked it in mid air. Add in a few key saves by Halak on Crosbie and Malkin (who were otherwise nonexistent) and you have the makings of a real cup contender. The entire team is coming together at just the right time - that's what playoffs are all about. They're starting to sense the return of Lord Stanley in MTL.

Kudos to the Flyers for winning three straight. I don't care who they take on next but am just glad the Habs are getting an extra couple of days rest after two 7 game series. Markov should hopefully be back by then.

Cyndi Crosby was invisible. Well, except that he actually was called for a boarding penalty! Fun to watch the Habs run through the East.

All I can say is I'm glad I took the Habs in my pool after the second round. Thank you Fleury; although the Habs played GREAT.

I would be more likely to conclude that it's finally the Sharks' year.
