For the first month we opened, I wore all my suits to work, as that was all I knew and was comfortable with. But I really believe that, in our environment, it simply isn't the image I want to project. Dressing well is important, as always, but chalk stripes on the owner is, IMHO, a little intimidating.
Maybe once you are more established you can go back to your suits? I don't think your outfit will be intimidating as long as your personality is welcoming. I would go with what is comfortable for you. If you can be laid back in a suit, go for it.
That said, I'd be happy to take some of your cufflinks or other paraphernalia off your hands!
