Proper age to wear a rugby shirt

What is the general consensus on if/when one grows beyond the age of wearing a rugby styled shirt? Obviously the RL Rugby brand is aimed at college kids... What do you all think?

I wouldn't wear one outside of college. Then again, I wouldn't have worn one IN college for that matter.

while I do agree it is "In Your Face" prep, I do own the waffle knit henley from RugbyRL and they do offer some nicer toned down items. However, not all of their shirts are like this and I think it depends on how it's worn..

Anytime you are on the rugby pitch. Or at the after-party. Otherwise, I wouldn't wear one.

This may be true in North America - but it is not the case in the rest of the English speaking world.
