Suede shoes - which is the most versatile?

I am going to buy one pair of these suede shoes, and I was wondering which one you thought was the most versatile. At the moment I am leaning towards the wingtip. http://www.herringshoes.co.uk/produc...colour_id=2190 http://www.herringshoes.co.uk/produc...electedFitID=0 http://www.herringshoes.co.uk/produc...&colour_id=229

I think you are right. The wingtip is also the best looking of that bunch.

I don't care for the suede loafer at all.

x2

Suede chukka's are nice as well, but not usually worn with suits/dress attire.

Gosh, why suede? Unless you've already got a LOT of pairs of shoes, there are much better choices than suedes, I think.

These are all very similar in terms of versatility. It all depends on the rest of your wardrobe, your habits, where you live, the weather there, etc.

Go for what fits you best.

I recently purchased a suede longwing and love it. It is the most versatile of the options you mentioned but thats because longwings are just more popular in general. This was my 21st shoe purchase so I wasnt really going for versatility.

Wingtip by a mile. Those could pair with everything from flannel suits to denim.

Thread should be moved to the general discussion forum

Wingtip by far. The other two are fine, just much less versatile. I'd say a shoe is almost always more versatile than a boot, and laces are almost always more versatile than slip-ons.
