Seriously, but my comments were w.r.t. navy suits and my ability to combine them with shirts and ties
MC has posted lots of pics of blue clothes, here are my comments regarding how the diff shirt/ties combos look to me. Comments are given without any malice, please feel free to disagree
Great post, Skinny. I looked in my closet and found three navy jackets, two pairs of cords, and several sweaters. Oh, and a bunch of shirts. aj, I'd vote "no" on that tie. Too gray (on my monitor). Darker blues and black are good, but then I'd look for some color.

I just want to point out that the intention of the pictures posted was to show the variety of blues available besides just navy, as well as a variety of skin tones... I paid no attention to tie+shirt combos or even the general fit that much. Just fabric/texture and color.
PS - thank god for the spoiler tag, that was so much easier to work through.

I just find it hard to believe that after all the time you've been on here and all the style blogs you visit, you can't find a blue suit combo that you like.
^^ no problem, thats just my opinion. Anyways, as I said before, my reservations are restricted to navy suits. I like navy and dark blue is other clothes. Navy SC s very versatile, I like navy odd trousers, navy V neck sweater, plain navy tie etc.

So what shirt and tie combos do you think work for navy SCs that don't work for navy suits?
