In Praise of Navy - Page 10

It needs a white pocket square

This tie with a solid grey suit and white pocket square. With this navy suit I suggest a tie with contrast and not a background of a similar shade of blue.

The tie is pretty bad. Unless that has your school emblem on it and you're wearing it to your reunion I'd forget it. The suit is also pretty generic looking.

Anyone have a pair of the Navy AE Macneil Longwings? They continue to intrigue me, but I am not sure why...

I think they would work very casually with jeans, and look great. Any other ideas, or is it really a specialty type shoe that would be worn very little?

That breast patch pocket is cartoonish, what kind of stitching is there along the edges?

Looks great to me; i've worn that exact same colour scheme.

Probably not AS comfortable as something sized up more but he's in great shape and the cut is great.
