Both libre and gratuit. Nice.
Ladies, ladies... let's stop getting tied up in semantics and keep our eyes on the prize: a flask for everyone. Well, except you trogdor. Sorry.

Did anyone ever receive one of these free flask?

Nothing's come my way.....yet. To be honest I forgot all about this. It will be a nice surprise if it ever arrives.

Hear hear. Maker's did send me their annual christmas gift: a mini shaker with their logo.

Mine never arrived. I have been checking the mail daily for the past month, hoping to find it in there. No luck.

I did not receive mine either. Bastages.

Nor I

Nor I, but I think they said 6-8 weeks (kind of the usual disclaimer, but maybe they meant it this time).

It'd be nice to get in in time for some bar hopping at the end of the month.

I got that same shaker too. I remember when I first received the box I thought it was in response to the free flask offer. It took me a second to realize why I was receiveing something from Maker's Mark.

Hence I willingly drink and support them. They give out freebies without telling or requiring you to buy something. Those x-mas cards from last year were a very classy touch.

Jack Daniels (UK) had a similar offer a 3 months ago; if you ordered a few (don't remember exactly how many but like 1-3) shots of JD they gave you a nice metal flask as a bonus. I did find out about it accidentally though (bartender handled me the flask and gave him a puzzled look), which probably means I'm an appropriate recipient for aforementioned flask.

nothing here either. I think its generous of them to make the offer that they did but if they dont send anything out whats the point; seems like an evasive way to get people's info and survey information.

I'm never drinking Fiddich again. Here's the email I got today: Dear Sir or Madam: First and foremost, we would like to thank you for your interest in Glenfiddich single malt scotch and our hip flask program. Unfortunately, it has been necessary to institute an early discontinuation of the program as the supply of flasks has been depleted. As you may or may not know, we have run this program consistently since January 2004 and have always had the stock available to supply our loyal customers. Unfortunately, in September 2006, this offer was picked up on some “free deal” websites and we received over 60,000 requests in September and October 2006 alone. Our supply was exhausted before we even knew what hit us! Again, we do apologize to our loyal consumers who the offer was originally intended for. Thank you for your consideration in this matter. Sincerely, William Grant & Sons US Importer, Glenfiddich Single Malt Scotch Whisky
