Guys,

be careful when selecting things based on colours - sometimes the colours presented by one computer monitor is not always a good representation of the colour of the item.

I just reecived some ties I spent a FORTUNE on from a seller and I can tell you, I would be too embarrassed to even admit to OWNING the ties, much less GIVE them away or sell them. They went straight into the bin = $225.00 down the crapper.

Just be careful.

Are you implying the OP's colors are not accurate? If you aren't, why would you post this in his thread?

Yes, if your monitor is shit, or the pictures have bad white balance then color may not be accurate, but this guys pics look quite accurate and high quality so why sully the OP's rep by posting this in his thread?

Mods, sorry for the bump, I will drop something today but has to clear my name here. Thanks Bean Counter for the good words. The person who bought the ties never asked anything about the colours of the ties and get them for a real good price. The pictures where high quality and sure gave a good impression. Every SF Member can bomb me with questions, so I think I did nothing wrong here. Thanks, Menno

Nope, Menno, you did nothing wrong, and nope, Bean counter, I am not hitting at the OP, and nope, I don't own a shitty monitor and nope, I don't give a shit, but I am warning everyone to be careful because it has happenned before and it will undoubtedly happen again that people will buy stuff thinking it is one thing and finding it is something else when it arrives.

IT is not even worth the bump responding to all this crap.
