Just seeking the views of those who have owned or own a H belt.

Its my recent and still most cherished item in the wardrobe.

I dithered a fair bit -

a. I got the "hammered mat finish" H buckle - Gold - cos it was meant to be more exclusive and expensive

b. I ordered - with the above - the brown (tan)/black leather belt

Then

a. Swapped the "hammered mat finish" H buckle - Gold - for the FIRST H belt/buckle I liked - which was the plain finish Gold buckle, and
b. Swapped the tan/black for the orange/black

Now I think if I made a mistake with the buckle - but MORE I wonder if I made then right choice on the belt/colours?

(I should add I plan to wear the orange side of the belt more in the summer with white jeans, blue chinos etc...)

Any views on your own choice would be really interesting to hear and do you think I made the wrong decisions. They cost a few quid and are tricky get hold of - but I guess I can always but another leather which I probably will in time.

Hammered gold + tan would be my preference, by a long shot.

I prefer the silver with a matte finish (the giant H is gaudy enough), tan's a nice color but you'll want shoes that match / same color realm and that might be hard to get.

Part of me wants to say green, but I cannot discuss it at this time.

Not sure there is such a thing as the red diamond with led lights - and what is a "baller"? I think you may have confused Hermes H belts with something else. Perhaps you might want to attach a pic in case I got it wrong.

I just mean to say it's a little ostentatious for my taste. The Hermes H is no different than a big Nike swoosh.

But a Hermes belt oozes with quality.

I'd go with a silver buckle myself, but a gold is definitely more ballin'.

Quality perhaps, but the big H oozes with brandwhoring.

I thought it stood for Haute Couture.
