EDIT 2: $40 price drop! Asking only $260!

EDIT: Pictures in post 3 (edit: imageshack is being screwy, so PM me an email address to send pics to if needed)

Opportunity for a great deal for someone who doesn't need the bleeding edge hardware, but just wants a nice Mac laptop. This was bleeding edge in its time, and has aged well - will include the latest PPC compatible operating system (Leopard 10.5.8), and any software the buyer would like me to keep on there (Adobe Creative Suite, etc). Alternatively, I can put a fresh install of Leopard on there, and you can start fresh.

I'll get some pictures up tomorrow. Basically the only thing wrong with it is the battery. It'll need a replacement, and currently only runs with the powercord plugged in and the battery out.

Specs:
Powerbook G4 1.5Ghz
1 GB RAM
15.4 inch screen
80GB Hard Drive
Superdrive
Illuminated Keyboard
USB + Firewire ports

This Mac originally retailed for $2000. Today I'm only asking $300. Shipping cost is what it is, via whatever method you'd like me to use. Paypal only please! Will consider reasonable offers as well.

Sure thing. I was going to hold out for a better camera, but the one on my 3Gs is pretty decent. Used photoshop to brighten a few and resize to browser friendly, and that's it.

Few edits - I'll throw in the DVI-VGA adapter pictured for free, and for an extra $50 I'll include the very-well-protecting Brenthaven bag in perfect condition - retailed for around $150. Also included of course is the charging cable, which is aftermarket but works just fine.

Here are the photos - I made a very specific effort to show any blemishes - small dent on bottom corner, as well as just some wear where you wrest your wrists.

Not to shit on your thread, but to give you an idea of the market for old macbook pros, I sold my mid-2007 macbook pro 15" (top of the line 15" version) for $450. It was something like 2.2 ghz core 2 duo, 160 gb hddrive, 2 gb ram, nvidia 8600 something blah blah

I always find it humorous when people say "Not to ________, but..." then they proceed to do it anyway.

In response, my father sold his similarly specced MacBook Pro this winter for $550. I'm asking nearly half of that, and 33% less than what you sold yours for, and considering offers.

I just sold a broken (bad charging port) White Macbook for $300. I think you have it priced fairly.
