Picked up some fish to grill at Santa Monica Seafood. They had whole turbot for 16.99/lb with most of their fish around 4 lbs. How much do others here pay? I've never seen it retail before.

Between $10 and $17 per pound in NY. You should call Providence and ask them where they're getting Breton turbot from.

Turbot at the wholesalers I usually go to is $7.99/lb, whole. At retail, I would pay $12.99/lb.
