You can, but there are a couple loopholes. The F bombs rain on Comedy Central after 11.

Doesn't that have to do with the type of channel the program is on? Regardless of what time the program is on, there won't be any swearing on NBC, ABC, CBS, etc...

Technically, after safe harbor hours are over you can show whatever you want. If NBC wants to show Debbie Does Dallas at two in the morning it can. What's at stake, however, is what your sponsors will think and whether or not they will continue to advertise with you. Thus, NBC chooses not to air Debbie Does Dallas at all for the risk that Ford and Walmart will no longer want their brand associated with such smut.

Yes, especially if it affords you the opportunity to watch/listen to two of the new singles on the upcoming Strokes album. In general, the episode was pretty good. Heder's Sheen was great, and Cyrus's Bieber was pretty spot on as well.

I'm not sure if that's true. Didn't NYPD Blue feature profanity and nudity? I'm not sure what network it was on, but it definitely originally aired on a network.
