Greetings all -- this is my first Styleforum post. Have been an occasional lurker here for a couple years. I'm a tall guy in my early thirties looking to make better clothing choices.

I lean toward a classic American style but have a tricky time finding clothing/shoes in my size. I'm 6'6", wear a 16.5/38 shirt, 44xl suit, 36x36 pant, and 16c shoe. Ouch. For many years my closet has been filled with shirts about an inch too short in the sleeve. No longer--one of my 2011 resolutions was to stop buying clothing that didn't fit me. To that end, I've had a couple oxfords made to measure and hope to purchase a few more later this year.

Normally, I love buying things at thrift or used shops, but rarely find anything in my size. If anyone here is looking to dump a boatload of gorilla-armed shirts, let me know!

Best,
Bjorn

Sounds like you came to the right place. There should be good suggestions here for MTM and bespoke that will fit you and that you can enjoy.

Welcome.

Been lurking for a couple years? I don't have to warn you about the dangers of DT then. Welcome!
