New Shoes - Yay or Nay?!

A colleague at work recommended these shoes to me. What do you guys think? I know they are a bit fashion forward but I really like how the toe box almost makes the shoe come to life.

If your looking for an analogy, I'd say it's more "coupe" than the usual Allen Edmonds "sedan" style.

You can grind the sole in front of the toe down to the sharpness of a razor blade and go out on an ass kicking campaign.

WTF is with the heel? I barely noticed it with the garishness of the rest of it, but, uh, what the fuck were they smoking? Actually, I'm guessing "everything".

I think you should go for it. If you ever have to swim fast, those would be very versatile shoes.
