Replica or "Knockoff" Sunglasses

Probably gonna get ripped for this but does anyone have a good site for cheap replica or knockoff sunglasses in particular I'm looking for Persol 649 around $50. I searched the web a bit and couldn't find anything. I'm a student with debt's and don't have the cash to shell out for a new pair...

I'm don't know about your question...but if you are ok with wearing aviator sunglasses go with American Optical. It's not a ripoff brand, it's actually really good quality. IIRC they used to supply the Airforce with sunglasses, but now I think Randolph Engineering does. I got my AO Generals 52mm(small) off ebay for around 25 bucks shipped, and I've heard of people getting them from surplus stores too.

in the grand scheme of knockoffs, knockoff sunglasses have to be the worst value. Just spend the $110 and get the real ones. get the fake hermes belt instead

When I used to purchase knock off shit I used a site called vogue wear or something similar. Just do a google search and you'll find a bunch of sites. Good luck finding Persol 649 knock offs though. Suck it up and pay for the real thing. You'll eyes will appreciate it much more in the long run and you'll enjoy better quality glasses and optical that don't break after a month.

Yea don't go knock off. Just save up for the real thing. You will appreciate the quality of the real thing more. If you want something cheap then go to target or something.

replica sunglasses are tacky. dont do it. however, you can always google, "designer sunglasses wholesale" on google and I'm sure you'll find dozens of sites based off of asia that sell it.

Thanks for the advice, ill check out American Optical, but 649 are just so badass, my mind is set on them, and they are very hard to find knockoff's. Ill just save up and get something that is quality like you guys suggested.

what is such great quality about plastic sunglasses people like nowadays? i always read about people justifying wayfarers because supposedly the lenses are good. i don't buy it.

Yeah I don't know about wayfarers, but I know that I would like quality glass in the sunglasses, and would like them not to fall apart. I guess the little logo makes them have 'style' lol.

The lenses in fake sunglasses often actually can be damaging, that possibility right there makes real ones likely worth getting. Not to say that all "real" sunglasses have high quality lenses, but you can bet that they are likely better quality and won't damage your eyes like fake lenses. There are plenty of articles to be read about the reasons why fake sunglasses (and their lenses) are bad for you, if you don't buy it then that's unfortunate for your eyes.

Oh plenty articles say cheap sunglasses perform same or better than designer glasses. However there're huge quality discrepancy among cheapos and no liability whatsoever.
