I will post in the B&S feedback as well, but I wanted to post in the sales thread that allaboutshoes is a class act. He responded to PMs very quickly, and although the shoes I purchased had to be ordered, they were shipped within a week and I received them shortly thereafter. They look absolutely fantastic (Shell cordovan Strands). Great seller, great prices, great experience!

Thanks for the feedback! And i actually found it comical that the guy that posted his AEs thought it was only for Strands and Park Aves

I have Bel Airs in 12D, and the sides are a bit too tight...should I order the Strands in 12E? I can no longer look up the last, so I hope someone may steer me in the right direction for these 5 lasts. Thanks!

I'm awaiting the Elgin. Very good service and communication from the seller, allaboutshoes. I will order again.

Hi GUys,

I'm interested in getting the AE Macneil shoe but am unsure of the size i should order. Currently using J&M Aldrich in US size 8EEE. Does anyone have these two shoe models for size comparison? By the way, i'm based in SIngapore and AE is not represented here.

Hello, I have worn the standard D width in previous dress shoes and they seemed to fit fine. However, this will be my first pair of quality shoes. Should I just go with the standard D, or would you guys recommend using measurements?

Just got my shoes. Great seller, a pleasure to deal with!

does anyone have some example photos to demonstrate the difference between the Dark Brown Burnished Calf and the Merlot Burnished Calf in a real life lighting situation. I have seen photos of the Merlot that look almost like red novelty shoes, and variations of Allen Edmonds brown colors. Thanks.

I've Bel Air 10.5B and McAllister 10.5C (5-last), if comparing the width they're quite same. I'd take 12E in your case....

That's what I was thinking, so I ordered a pair of Strands in 12E. Thanks for the reply. I also emailed AE's customer service and they said the same thing. However, for those of you who currently wear a D, the "5" lasts are only slightly narrower, so you may not have to "widen up". Best bet would be to head over to the nearest store or Nordstrom to try them on. I will post an update once I receive the shoes.

I've been wearing the Elgin that I ordered. Great shoes. Fit well. Very country-like. I like them quite a bit. Ordered some brown PA.
