Well, this and the internet...
But I've been a loyal LA Times Thursday - Sunday Subscriber for 6+ years now, I like having my breakfast, reading an article and getting smart(er). And at about $150 a year delivered to my 3rd floor apartment, the cost is very reasonable to me.
Problem is I never fully enjoy it because they all come in a 4 day period, then I get 3 days off reading old news or nothing at all. At least one paper a week goes untouched.
I called to see if I could just do Sunday, Wednesday & Friday service and they said it simply wasnt an option. I'd pay the same amount, I just dont need ALL THAT NEWS at once. Im not Charlie Sheen, my brain cant handle it.
The guy is already delivering daily, so why cant I choose a la carte service? Do any papers do this?
Or should I just get a weekly news magazine subscription instead? I DO NOT want a kindle or other electronic gizmo.
