Are there any Nudies worth getting besidesd the RRDS? - Page 2

I have two pairs of Jims. Decent cut, but the construction and denim quality are pretty average, which is quite poor for the price point. I like them enough, but for the money ($150-190 or so), you can find much better dry denim jeans (i.e., APC, 5EPs when they're on sale, and even Earnests).

I absolutely love my Olas; best pair of jeans I've owned. I've been wearing them for 2.5 months now with no wash. Going to go for the full six months before I wash them.

Another quick question; do all the Thin Finn models contain lycra and do all slim Nudie jeans have a zip-fly?

yes. but the finn denim is pretty nice for being "stretch" and isnt like the cheesy stretch denim from 80s/90s. the Ola has a buttonfly, Jim and Finn and Kim are zipper

Apparently there's also a new Nudie model called "Even Steven". (I don't know if this has been posted anywhere before)
Check the fitguide for a picture: http://www.nudiejeans.com/fitguide/

From what I gathered it's going to be selvage denim and at some point there will be a special edition called "Masa" which will be made in Japan and should be between 13 and 13.75oz. Please correct me if I'm wrong, most of this info came from mynudies.

Those Even Stevens look cool even though they look like nudies attempt to jump on the repro bandwagon

Anyone here removed the stitching from the back pockets? Pics? Oh, on the Nudie site, anyone have a guess as to what shoes the model is wearing in the bootcut ola?

Another vote for the Olas. Also their Conny jacket is very nice.

svens are my favorite. i have a pair of the japanese selvage (same as RRDS) and they fit me perfectly!

i originally had a pair of RRDS, but i had a bit of a dilemna. i ordered them in 32x32 and 32x34. the 32x32 was perfect in the waist and rise, but i knew they were going to be too short once i washed them. the 32x34 were better for length, but since they're longer in the inseam the front and back rise was an inch longer and it just looked off.

. . . soooo i went with svens! the rise is a tiny bit lower and since i think i'm finally being converted to straight leg jeans thes workout quite excellent!

yeah, I love the straight svens. They are my new favorite.

I have the ola, and I do like them, but I've never been quite comfortable in them because they are so damn tight around the thighs, and I've been lifting pretty regularly, so they are just getting tighter around my thighs it seems. Argh.

I'm getting more into straight leg fits, but I don't like skin tight, the slim jims looked good but the straight svens are just perfect for me, because they're in between the slim jim and the ralf, minus the bootcut with a slightly larger opening than the slim jim. Perfect because I wear boots a lot. And they fit comfortably around my thighs and are not too tight, but still fairly slim.

I own a pair of BBs, sized down 2. The low back pocket placement and long back rise allow for the antifit look while still wearing them around my waist. They were roomy enough in the thighs, which was my main concern.
