for medschool interviews
Won these with a high bid of $105.50. They're NIB.

Shipping was pricey, but still a good deal. Seller didn't mention "Polo" or "Tellman" in the header. If they don't fit, I figure I can flip 'em for more than I paid.

That coat is very nice. I just won a Gucci suede jacket, slate grey in colour, haven't paid yet but it's pricey. Photos when it arrives. I have this thing for suede jackets, I have one in tan and one in dark brown from Joseph and Lyman (Bloomies instore label I believe).

Thx Chobo. I'm hoping its as dark and muted as it appears to be in the photos. I've had experiences with crombie coats in the past on ebay where the herringbone appears much less subtle in person.

I would've had these for less if not for the sniper I had to deal with in the last minute, sigh... Still, I'm happy enough. They are NIB and I paid $111. I am not familiar with this model of Bally, but they look nice enough.

yeah, i had thought about bidding on the polo coat, but passed. i'm more of a 42L (i'm just under 6'1") and I already had 2 coats from BB.

anyway, very nice.

Yes, they look nice. Are they Scribes? If so, you have a bargain then, if not, still a good buy. The soles seem to be stitched so that's an improvement over many Bally's of recent years.

No they aren't scribes. I am not sure the model, though they look well put together from what I can tell.

Anyway, for the price I paid it was worth a shot. I am not the biggest fan of Bally shoes, but I've never owned a pair, so perhaps I should wait and see.

For me I am somewhat limited by my location in Canada, having rather sparse selection in my city. This is particularily the case given my wide foot. If I go to the finer shoe stores here (all three of them, lol) I never get my size on sale, often having to special order them at full retail of $350+.

I am so envious of the New Yorker members of SF; everytime I visit I go crazy. What an amazing city to shop for bargains, although Atlanta has proven decent for me on occasion too.

All I can say is I am thankful for SF, STP, and Ebay. It certainly makes the world smaller for us on the outside edges of oblivion.

I've been saving these up, so I figured it was time to post pictures. All of this stuff has been purchased since joining SF, most of it from last summer until the present.

First four pairs are Drake's ($7 each from Saks Off 5th), last is Polo from one of the outlets.

Drake's lambswool scarf, $8 from eBay.

Finally bought some nice slacks. Baby blue cords are Polo made in Italy, navy Lambourne cords from STP, wool/cashmere Riviera slacks, $25 from Saks Off 5th. Not pictured, Mabitex khakis, $40 off eBay (at the tailor's as we speak).

T&A 3-button cuff shirts, gingham one off eBay, $45 NWT, and the other from their sale in July.

From L-R, Holland & Sherry ($7 from FB), T&A off eBay, T&A from their sale, Dunhill from C21, Ike Behar from TJMaxx, Arnys ($25 from Ben Silver), Ferre ($30 from Saks off 5th), and RT BOC from eBay.
Also picked up a pair of Polo/Gittings suede chukkas from GVH and a matching suede Crookhorn belt. RT cashmere/cotton sweater, $30 from FB, and Polo half-zip cashmere sweater, $75 NWT off eBay. I'm waiting on my second Jantzen order and will post pics when I receive it. Look at what you guys have done to me.

Not at all, I just didn't have any dress shoes

Well, any dress shoes that screamed "future doctor" anyways.
