When is the Next Ralph Lauren Sale? - Page 36

Got some good stuff for spring/summer. A madras shirt, oxford cloth shorts, chinos etc... Finally found out the Rodeo Drive store has free valet parking in the back. I have always parked down the street at a structure.

Picked up PRL Navy 2 gold button Blazer in Bradford cut(made in italy). Paid only $499. From Sydney sale. Size 36R !!!
I have one jacket from prl in Garrison cut. Bradford cut is much slimmer than the Garrison .I am 5'9.5" and the jacket length is 30.2 inches. For some reason it just looks a bit too long. My other jackets are about 29 -29.5 inches. Should I shorten it or leave it as is ?
I will have to slim down the jacket as well. I am a stick 116lb.

I recently bought a Polo "Soft" cut navy blazer with silver metal buttons based on Polo I or Bradford cut, and I found it longer too, but I like it to wear in more formal way than other shorter jackets.

Have you tried Bleecker cut? It's the slimmer and shorter cut offered by Polo, surely you will like it.
I have two jackets made in this cut for the EU market, they differ for double vents instead single vent and for drop, in europe it's always 7R instead 6R.

Thanks Alex. I will have look out for Bleecker cut. Problem is RL stores hardly have any 36R. They start from 38R.
I think I will leave the length as is. Few months ago I had to pass on a RLBL Anthony suit in Navy pin stripe on sale for $800. The jacket was a little over 31 inches. I think low button stance and lower waist pockets makes them look longer that they are. Anthony jacket had drop 7.

The current sale is somewhat narrow in the items eligible for a discount.

But this might interest some people: If you want to do a MTM suit for a black label suit they carry in store, they'll charge you the RTW price IF it's your first time doing MTM. That's roughly a $200 saving (basically there's no upcharge for custom).

But again, the caveat is that it has to be a suit model/fabric they carry on the shelf, and it's only if you've never done mtm before with them. They're trying to get people into the MTM program with this promotion.

It's ideal if the black label suits don't fit you off the rack.

After the private sale ends, when is the next time RL will have a sale up to 40% + 15, with staples included? Is there an end of season sale in July, or will it be in the Fall?

It's in the Fall a couple of weeks before Thanksgiving.

Hit or miss - sometimes they're included, sometimes they're not.

I'd also like to know what is up with the "kicker." After a cursory glance over several pages I see it mentioned but am still not sure what it is.

Thanks

Basically a kicker is an extra ???% off the sale price in the form of a coupon code.
Thanks. Is there any particular way one goes about getting their hands on the code?

What's a good way to check whether shell is included in the next sale? Really looking to get a Marlow wingtip but can't really afford full price. Thanks!
