Jumped on the today's RL kickoff fall sale and picked up two Caldwell Quilted Jackets [Blue & Olive] for $193 each:

Pretty happy with that deal.

Also branched over to rugby.com and picked up a sweater and scarf using the 20% + free shipping deal coupon code on their insidersale.

Congrats on the purchase! I really liked this jacket, but my girlfriend ended up getting me a Barbour Chelsea. Love that jacket, but don't think it is as substantial as the PRL quilted jacket.

Thanks. The Barbour Chelsea line is nice. I had been eying Barbour and was going to opt for a Barbour Powell for a while [which I might still get in that classic black] but had to pull the trigger on the RL Caldwell once I saw it for a comparable price.

I personally like the Lindricks a lot better.

I don't know if I could live with the way they did the leather around the eyelets for the Mundesley boot. So if I went this route I might just get the pebble leather boots from Brook Brothers instead.

Already got the Lindricks. I'm wondering if the pictures on RL's website are off since it says the boots are tan but they appear pretty dark.

Somewhat related question to this thread. I had been eyeing this fall 12 Polo Ralph Lauren fair isle sweater for quite some time, and pulled the trigger on it. http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/polo-ralph-lauren-fair-isle-sweater/3353947?origin=category&contextualcategoryid=0&fashionColor=&resultback=693. I tried hard, but couldn't find a way to get it on sale, it's not listed on the prl site at all. I'm still trying to determine if it's worth the $299 after taxes, which is what I paid for it. Can anyone speak to the quality of these pieces? It's hard to justify, as it probably will only be worn max 10-15 times this year. Also, I bought a somewhat comparable, at least visually, sweater at H&M for like $44 after taxes. It's something I'm still sleeping on, as i've considered returning it.
