When is the Next Ralph Lauren Sale? - Page 18

Tried to order three Marlows through the local RL store last Wednesday. After the store manager took a look at the sale prices online he agreed to order the shoes on Thursday. Store manager calls RL corporate to place the order and RL corporate supposedly shoots him down, saying the shoes were never on sale and the sale price can't be verified. I called RL corporate and they agreed to honor the price if I could provide an order number for the shoes at the sale price. So, anyone want to offer up their order number that I can pass along to RL as proof the sale existed? Heh. I'm expecting crickets on this one.

As a back up plan that may or may not work, anyone have a cached web page that shows the 30% off for the Marlows?

Posting this in the other thread, too.

I just received an email saying my marlow wingtips are being delayed because they can't determine a ship date and will ship them as soon as they can find a pair. They'll cancel the order if they can't find a pair within 30 days. Not looking like I'll get the marlow wingtips after all...

Thanks. I missed that screen print the first time around. Let's see what RL says.

Is RL going to have a Father's Day sale? I know their private sale just ended last night, but the things I was looking to get was not included in the sale...

Thanks

June 1, RLBL sale is happening. Don't know the duration; I got a call from my local guy and I do plan on purchasing a few items.

Hoping it's the 30% plus the kicker.

What's the kicker?

Well if it mirrors the PRL sale, 30% plus the 15% kicker on the 30. Don't quote me on that, just a guess. I would think its going to be about 30. Also, I would expect non sale items to be available, that include, but are not limited to: Anthony linens, patterned suits - etcetera.

I just quoted you on that.

But yeah, history shows that this trend usually happens, and is worth the wait. Available for use on RLPL, RLBL and maybe even RRL items.

I really want some cable-knit sweaters, but can't justify the prices

Do RLBL pants have to be cuffed (as stated on the Ralph Lauren site)? I obviously prefer no cuff...

They do not need to be cuffed. You should though.

Hmm, doesn't that "shorten" your leg visually?
