Zegna Couture Suits Question

What is the difference in construction between Zegna Couture and mainline Zegna suits (NOT Z Zegna)?

They're both canvassed and have hand stitched details. What else? What justifies the extra 2-3k for ZCouture suits?

I'm too lazy to go the wardrobe and actually check (sorry) but from memory, Zegna Couture has a slimmer, softer cut with a fair bit more handwork & detailing and nicer fabrics.

Whether that's worth the extra cash is a more nebulous question, of course.

in addition to what Holdfast already said:

though I find the shoulders on mainline zegna really good, the shoulders on the couture are a step above

FWIW, fit comparison between a Milano (drop 7) and a Couture (drop 6):
the latter had an overall slimmer cut, which (at least for me) resulted in a slightly too tight chest area and upper arms

Both Milano and Couture come in a wide range of drops. In like for like I don't think I see a difference in fit. Maybe a tape measure could find the difference.

The Courture have better fabric, better stitching details on all the seams, stronger chest, better shoulder

If you have a good budget the ZC line is worth it
