This sums it up:

I dont think Ed Hardy is going away.
Ed Hardy has opened up 1 store I know of in San Diego (maybe its a franchise?)
and its very busy.

We may not like Ed Hardy but that brand has a huge following.
The stuff is made well and its attention getting.
That is what alot of people want.

I expect them to be around in some form for a while.

With all these brands crashing and burning (ed Hardy, Von Dutch, affliction) What new brand do you see taking the spot light?

His stuff is absolutely not well made. It's pure garbage. And just because a store is busy doesn't mean it's profitable. This shit will fade because more or more people are starting to hate it. I personally do not know anyone who would pay money for it. I personally wouldn't take a free Ed Hardy wardrobe. Ed Hardy is pure mierda.

As long as normal people equate "fashion" with "loud shit that lets the bitches know much I spent", brands like Ed Hardy will always have a big presence I have always wondered if/why anybody hasn't adopted the business model of just changing their brand name when the old ones die out. People don't know

Ha, yea that's true. Maybe I should start the anti-Ed Hardy campaign.
