That is a good combination but softy has a problem with apple pie. This is serious.

Next you'll tell me I should indulge in mac-and-cheese. I always felt pumpkin pie was the sophisticated choice...!

We're not white trash. Fuck, I've never even eaten meatloaf. We're talking about apple pie.

Oh, I should mention that I don't like apples.
Pear pie, on the other hand, I could strongly support.

You're like the soldier who stabbed Jesus while he was on the cross.

I don't know if pear pie is a thing, I was just thinking of what is the "apple equivalent" that I like. If you replaced the apples with pears it would be functionally the same thing... right...???

Quite a derail we got going here.

Yeah, I`m sure someone is going to start crying soon.

Hmmm, let`s see. I really like wearing pocket squares with my sport coats.

Mad men is a tv show and not real life. It is a bygone era and not today. TV folds were popular in the 50's and early 60's in the US but then died....for a reason.

My feeling is that if you want to look up-tight and anal wear a TV fold. The one exception is a "relaxed fold". If you aren't sure what a relaxed fold is then go back and read this thread. Just follow Luciano Barbera.

If you want to look relaxed or expressive wear points or a puff.

WWLBD?

I use TV folds all the time and I never look like I stepped out of an episode of Mad Men. Probably because I also don't wear slim ties and 60s style suits.

Do you eat vanilla ice cream all the time as well? If you do, well fine. Vanilla is OK, but you are limiting yourself.

There is absolutely nothing worse than when someone is doctrinaire on Style Forum. It's like a parody post that writes itself.

I use different folds all the time, but I also like using the TV fold. It's a fold that has its use just like all of the others.

I hate to teach critical reading skills but I didn't say I used them exclusively. I use them often, not always.
