Pocket Squares: A Discussion Thread, Questions, Opinions, Suggestions..... - Page 252

Hi, lots of nice inspiration here. I was wondering if you could give me a few clues:

This suit, shirt and tie:

What pocket square colors and textures would be good to look at?

What PS would go well with a navy suit, white shirt and black grenadine tie? So far I only have a white linen PS, but would like to slowly expand my collection.

Ideas on how to use this PS together with odd trousers and SCs? What combination of colors (trousers, jacket, shirt, tie) goes with it? It's cotton/linen.

Processed By eBay with ImageMagick, z1.1.0. ||B2

It's described as "salmon with taupe". Thanks in advance.

Recently received as a gift a Drake's pocket square thats a combination of silk and wool.  Mostly silk.  Is this an appropriate texture for summer?

Looks like this, but its yellow with blue print and edges:  http://www.barneys.com/Drake%27s-Oversized-Medallion-Pocket-Square/00505028537854,default,pd.html?gclid=CjkKEQjw75CcBRCz2LiEs5OPsZoBEiQADgUma5vCWIVZ1V_k87rSdI5YGVAVgolJudd_hODrXmg4AiPw_wcB

As long as the colors are seasonally appropriate, sure.

I am a huge supporter of pocket squares/pocket rounds. My favorite suit shop in Tampa turned me on to them. My first thought was...absolutely not, but then he placed one in the pocket of my jacket and said the magic words, "why do you think this suit has a pocket?"

Now I can't wear a suit without a pocket square or pocket round. I am not sure how many I own...20-30 perhaps. It does a couple of things. First and foremost it adds a small amount of color to a suit...and a bit of personal style. Secondly I like pairing my suit, tie and pocket squares as it shows attention to detail.

I have enjoyed these posts very much and enjoy seeing the combos.

I picked up this pocket square from Rubinacci in London. I chose the brown/cream design for versatility. I did however want to leave the boutique with ALL the pocket squares... An ALL the ties...

@DWRR That is a great PS, very nice work. Yes, you could do some damage to a bank balance there!

So the price in store is ex. VAT?
I ordered online for 70 + VAT some time ago.

Do they have a wide selection in store? I contacted them over a year ago about some squares I wanted to have, and they were all gone. They said they were going to have new ones, but even though the website was updated a dozen times, the stock hasn't.

Hi Chopper, I called the store in London and they had 'em 70 euros + VAT, you're quite right.

The lady i spoke to was very helpful and was happy to mail out the PS to me.
