Firstly I'm tentatively going to be pairing it with this Drakes Silver Grenadine tie and wearing a white shirt:

And wearing these eyeglasses:

And finally wearing Burgundy double monk strap shoes (if that matters). I can obviously stick to plain white, but ideally I'd prefer something in a colour with a pattern/motif. Any suggestions or do's or don'ts based on the above?

I'd skip the tie and maybe change the white shirt to a very light blue one or pink. Otherwise it's three light monochrome colors (suit, shirt, tie). Instead go with some stronger color for the tie and pocket square: black/dark grey/blue/navy/burgundy for tie and maybe pink or purpleish pocket square with a strong pattern. I use a pink madras check (pink base color plus other colors as accents) pocket square from The Tie Bar with my grey suit.

Or get some crispy silk Berg and Berg with tremendous floral patterns...

I have this one on the way. I think it'll end up proving quite versatile.

I actually think this could work well, based on the different colors combinations within it:

Or perhaps this one, since it has all the colors of everything in one:
