I picked the wool tie and wool/silk square at Khaki's of Carmel.

So last night at a party a girl with banoffee pie on her fingers looked quizically at my prized Rubinacci PS and reached for it. My heart almost stopped and I instinctively batted her hand away. Have I been spending too much time on SF? bored.gif

I live/work within a jeans and t-shirt influenced location. The few times I wear a PS, It is impossible for people not to play with it. The girls just like them for what they are, and the men yank them out to "show me how to do it right". Gee, thanks so much for the beautiful new 6" tall puffer'ish whatever you just did.

I was down at J Lawrence Khaki's of Carmel on Sunday and took some pics of just a few of their massive collection of pocket squares. The owner, Jim Ockert, loves accessories so he is a real pocket square kind of guy. I have other pics of silk squares but wanted to show the wool and wool blends that I think are so nice this time of year. If all you have are silk or cotton squares, try a wool or wool/silk blend. You'll enjoy it.

We were staying in San Francisco for Christmas so I wanted to stop by WIngtip and see our friend Jesse. He is selling pocket squares today from his Put This On collection. I picked up this one made from vintage Japanese silk.

^^^Hey Davesmith, do you think you could show pics of those in action? Because, aside from a solid white I usually have very patterned squares. So, I'm having a hard time visualizing how to make those look their best.

I got five new pocket squares for Christmas/Chanukah biggrin.gif, which means that I now just about have enough that I "need" somewhere interesting to keep them that isn't just a drawer. Does anyone have any recommendations for a pocket square rack? I see there is one on Kent Wang's site, but the $25 for shipping is making me balk. I quite like the idea of the circular rack though...

Does this work with a navy blazer and a lavender purple kind of button down shirt?



Also, how is a wool pocket square?

Any other suggestions are welcomed. I'm basically looking for something with a navy blazer and a lavender patterned button down shirt. Looking at a pocket square in anything but silk.
