I want to buy another white linen pocket square. On the cheaper side and on the smaller side. I already have a Kent Wang pocket square that I like, so similar to that. Any ideas?

At the same time, you might want to consider one that is a bit more expensive but really thick, heavy linen. A classic white linen you will wear repeatedly for years to come so what is an extra $20 or so for one of the very best? I've had some of my favorite linen ones for 10+ years.

The extra heavy ones have a starched feel that really holds their shape all day long. Just sayin'

Any other suggestions than J-Crew? They're just not my favorite store . Ideally, I'd like one where I can do the straight across flat fold (tv fold?) like 1 cm above the pocket. I'd like to be able to make the length correct easily, be able to push it in easily, and for it to not be too thick.

The two options were: Kent Wang (which I already have) and a pocket square that won't be available for a few weeks....

Any other alternatives?

You should get one. Its the best $65 I ever spent. Almost time to get a second one though

I visited a men's specialty shop that had a massive glass brandy snifter on a table. It must have been 18" tall and 12 inches wide. The owner would just grab a pocket square, put it into a loose ball and toss it into the glass container. It was a very colorful display. When he selected a shirt and tie, he would just look at the container and reach in a pull out whatever color seemed to work. It was actually fun to watch and it was so much more effortless than folding, hanging, etc.


I have a small vintage mahogany tray. I fold then and fan them out. The seasonal ones I put away with my other seasonal clothing in hanging canvas garment bags that are stored in a separate bedroom. That reminds me, it is about time to pull out the spring and summer pocket squares and put away the fall/winter ones....
