The main differentiator seems to be hand-rolled v. machine-sewn edges. I'm sure someone can wax lyrical about the quality of the cloth, but in terms of what anyone will actually see? I think it's just the edges. What do you think, Gus?
can anyone tell the "quality" of a white linen pocketsquare? or is a white linen ps a white linen ps?
The quality of the fabric, the texture of the weave, some will have a woven pattern, some are hand rolled and sewn while others a machine edge. Most linen looks pretty good. It offers some texture and usually has a crisp look that makes it look "fresh" throughout the day. But, to the sharp eye, yes there is a visible quality difference between linen pocket squares.
Ive looked to no avail sadly
However, my wife is headed over to Paris shortly, I will send her on a mission!
