Hmmm it would appear that you have something that might work. Do you by chance have a picture of the blue seersucker in action?

Hmmm the picture makes the PS look regular blue instead of light blue to me. Am I going crazy?

I think pocket squares are the anti-sprezzatura.

i think i've been doing it wrong...
i wrap twice... and then thread the wide end of the tie through BOTH of the loops
but it appears that the guy in the video only threaded the tie through the 2nd loop
did i get that right?

doesn't look bad, right? but it's very difficult to undo the knot and retie to adjust

If you just want the heft of the double FIH, thread the front blade through the second loop. If you want that sprezzy look (sloppy to me, but to each . . .), thread through the first loop and you'll get that extra bit of fabric peeking out as in the photos above.

This may be one of my favorites for the upcoming Fall...
